You are required to submit your Quarterly Licensing Report (QLR) report for every quarter in your licensing period even if you have no business, your business closes or is sold, or you surrender your license.
You must file your QLR online when we go online with our new system. Watch a short video about what this will look like:
Stay tuned for training information before we go live.
Read more about how you will log into our system, MyAccount, with Secure Access Washington (SAW). If you don't have a SAW account, learn how to register for SecureAccess Washington (SAW).
Quarterly licensing reports and fees are due the last day of the month following the end of a calendar quarter, as shown below.
When the due date falls on a weekend, the next business day is considered timely for filing and payment.
You'll find the definitions for gross gambling receipts by reading Washington Administrative Code 230-05-112, where the definitions are listed by type of gambling activity.
You can use our license fee calculator to estimate your quarterly licensing fees.
You cannot report cents on your quarterly report. Please follow these rounding guidelines to round to the nearest dollar:
Prized paid means the total number of cash prizes paid out and the value of all merchandise awarded. If you purchased prizes, the value is your cost. If prizes were donated to you, the value is the estimated fair market value of the items on the date they were received as donations. If all the prized you awarded were donated to you, the "Prizes Paid" and "Donated Prizes" lines will be the same values.
Merchandise donated or purchased for prizes, but not awarded, should not be included on your quarterly report.
A late fee of $25 per day, up to 30 days ($750), is assessed for each day you do not submit your quarterly license report or pay your quarterly license fees. For example, if you are one day late in submitting your quarterly license report, you will be assessed a $25 late fee. If you submit your report on time, but your fee is a day late, your will be assessed a $25 late fee. If you are 30 days late, you will be assessed a $750 late fee. After 30 days, administrative action may also be taken against your license.
If you submitted a payment when you filed your report, you cannot amend your filing until the following day. If you did not submit a payment, you can amend it at any time. Follow the steps below to amend your quarterly license report(s).
If you need to amend a report that is not available in your myAccount, please email us for assistance.
